About Me

I believe that learning the piano is a truly amazing gift to both mind and heart. That’s why I'm doing all I can to make piano possible for adults!

“Hi, I’m Lauren - founder and your piano teacher at Piano Chill. Thank you for being here!

A life-long musician, I’ve been playing the piano for three decades. Born in New Zealand, I trained in Piano Performance at the Conservatorium of Music in Melbourne. I’ve gone on to perform across many styles, and have been teaching the piano since 2010.

I’m so grateful for the gift of piano in my own life, bringing focus and calm through every season. I was eager to share that with other adults - enter Piano Chill! An online space where adults can find connection, happiness and peace through the journey of learning the piano.

I’ve combined my skills in piano technique, composition and arranging to create a truly personalised online piano programme. I’d love to share my love of piano with you, from here in Sydney, Australia to wherever you are in the world!
